A group of local traders has hatched a plan to make Christmas shopping easier this year.
Fifteen businesses are keeping their doors open for a night shopping event until 9pm this Thursday, December 15.
Kelly Hebard from Toyworld came up with the idea for herself and fellow traders in the Station St area.
“I live here and I just know that everyone needs a boost and the businesses are suffering,” she said.
There will be something for everyone, including clothing, toys, jewellery, shoes and even the hairdressers.
Many of the participating retailers will be offering promotions, balloons and even door prizes.
Gaffney’s Pie Kitchen will be offering roast beef rolls on the night to sustain the shoppers.
