Hall’s Jewellers is losing its crown jewel.
Leanne Parry has worked for the Hall family for almost 30 years, helping customers find the perfect gifts.
However, she has decided the time has come to retire after 40 years spent retail in Seymour’s CBD.
Alison Hall said customers and the Hall family will miss Leanne’s friendly face and dedication.
“She started in April 1995,” she said.
“Her mother approached my father about the job.
“Her mother heard that we were looking for new staff and suggested Leanne would be the pick; after my father met her, there were no further discussions.”
Leanne was worth her weight in gold.
Born and raised in Seymour, Leanne is a familiar face in the community, and had a knack for always being able to find that special gift.
Christmases, Valentines Days, birthdays and anniversaries were made extra special with gifts selected by Leanne at Hall’s Jewellers, with her role serving customers and curating the collection ensuring the best of the best was always on display.
“She walks out with a lot of knowledge and background to our business,” Alison said.
“We will miss her friendship and expertise, and her certain flair for decorating.”
Leanne will be finishing up at Hall’s Jewellers on Christmas Eve, and is looking forward to a nice, quiet retirement, but Alison is sure you’ll still see her pop up from time to time.
Make sure to head on down to Hall’s Jewellers and secure any last gifts from Leanne before she says goodbye.
