Deniliquin’s Legacy volunteers hosted the annual Christmas party at the Deniliquin RSL Club on Thursday.
Volunteers, war widows and their family members gathered in the club’s Gallery Room for a sit down meal and a chance to spread some festive cheer.
A special presentation was also made to local carpentry student Sam Young, who received a grant to assist with his studies (read the full story in Friday’s Pastoral Times).
Other special guests at the luncheon were Legacy Club of Wagga Wagga president Doug Conkey and education officer John Ferguson.
