There were cuppas aplenty at Lifestyle Shepparton’s Biggest Morning Tea on Wednesday, May 25.

The retirement village was one of several local organisations that signed up to host the fundraising event over May and June, with all proceeds headed to Cancer Council for people impacted by cancer.

Organiser Jean Jones said the morning tea raised $3000 for the cause, to be met dollar for dollar by Lifestyle Shepparton in an “extraordinary effort”.

She said more than 100 people participated in the event, which featured a speech from GV Hospice Care president Jeanette Powell.
