Living off the grid is easy

Off-Grid Energy Australia is celebrating 11 years in the business and will have staff on hand at the expo to answer any questions about installation, whether it be for a home, farm or factory.

Off-Grid Energy Australia is back at the expo for the ninth year running to provide expert advice on battery storage and power independence.

The award-winning company has specialised in designing and installing off-grid power systems since it was founded in 2011 and has installed more than 1000 of them to customers nationwide.

Victorian manager and Clean Energy Council accredited designer Aaron Lewtas said by sticking with what they did best — off-grid battery systems — the team had honed a unique and expert knowledge base over many years.

“There’s a big difference between installing a standard solar system and designing a robust and reliable off-grid system, which provides an essential service — power to your home,” Aaron said.

The business offers 24/7 after-sales tech support to its customers, including many local organisations — Bluetongue Berries, The Mill Castlemaine and the Australian Defence Force.

“We know what it takes to provide hassle-free independent power and the ongoing commitment that it requires,” Aaron said.

“We have plenty of local customers who are very happy to chat about their experience with us and what it’s like living off the grid.”

Off-Grid Energy is a CEC-approved solar retailer and has signed on to the Solar Retailer Code of Conduct.

Aaron said the company’s quality assurance process was industry leading.

“Before one of our systems gets to your home to be installed by our accredited installers, it has already gone through a design review, pre-assembly, programming and rigorous testing in our workshop,” he said.

“Modern off-grid systems can power anything these days, from a small house to a large luxury home and even commercial and industrial operations, which means off-grid, independent power is proving to be cheaper than grid power for more and more homes and businesses.”

The friendly experts from Off-Grid Energy Australia will be available in the Exhibition Building to answer your questions and will also be giving presentations over the weekend.
