Local artist makes Deni debut

Rachel Braybon will make her solo exhibition debut in Deniliquin this week.

The ‘Out There’ exhibition has been on display in Sydney, and will now be available for viewing at the Deniliquin Peppin Heritage Centre.

Mrs Braybon described the exhibition as “an evocative art exploration dedicated to celebrating the profound connection between humans, nature, and the cherished moments spent with loved ones”.

She said she is excited to be unveiling her artwork in her local community.

“I have been building this body of work for the last five months. It’s been challenging, yet very rewarding to see my artwork come to life,” she said.

“The ‘Out There’ exhibition embodies what my artwork is all about - from stunning landscapes to outdoor adventures, each artwork evokes the essence of human connection against the backdrop of nature’s wonder.”

The ‘Out There’ exhibition was launched in Sydney last month, where Mrs Braybon was in attendance to witness several buyers snap up her art on the spot.

It will now be on display in Deniliquin until the end of November.

Complementing the exhibition, Mrs Braybon will host a painting workshop from 3pm on Friday, November 15, for ticket holders.

It will form part of the Sculpture Muster’s closing event at the Peppin Heritage Centre.
