Major flood warning issued for Seymour

People in low lying areas along the Goulburn River between Lake Eildon and Seymour have been warned they are in danger from flooding and should move to higher ground.

A major flood warning has been issued for the Goulburn River from Lake Eildon to Seymour and VicEmergency is warning that people in that area “could be impacted anytime from Thursday afternoon”.

It says if people are located in low lying areas, or close to a waterway, they “are in danger” and should act to protect themselves by moving to higher ground.
