Man arrested over Moama armed robbery

A MAN has been remanded in custody over an armed robbery at a Moama bottleshop more than two years ago.

Officers from Murray River Police District have been investigating the crime since a man allegedly armed with a knife robbed the BWS store on Perricoota Rd on January 29, 2019.

Following extensive inquiries, police arrested Dylan Voller when he attended Moama Police Station about 1pm today.

The 23-year-old was charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon, and shoplifting.

He appeared in Deniliquin Local Court by AVL today, before being remanded in custody to appear in Griffith Local Court on Friday.
