A man’s excuse for driving while disqualified was that “sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.”
Samuel James Retallick, 42, of Moama, was charged with driving a motor vehicle during a disqualified period.
His matter was heard in his absence at Echuca Magistrates’ Court.
When interviewed by police about his reason for driving unlicenced, Retallick said “sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.”
Retallick was fined $1200 and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
