A man was flown to hospital with possible life-threatening injuries after an alleged assault at a Mooroopna supermarket on Monday, May 22.
Police said it was believed two males were fighting inside Woolworths supermarket on McLennan St just after 7pm.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said one man, believed to be in his 40s with upper body injuries, was flown to Royal Melbourne Hospital by air ambulance in a critical condition.
A Royal Melbourne Hospital spokesperson said at 11am on Tuesday that the man remained in a critical condition in hospital.
The other man is yet to be located.
It is believed both parties were known to each other, police said.
