Mathoura Public School production a great success

Colourful occasion: The finale of Mathoura Public School's production Are We There Yet.

Mathoura Public School held its biennial production Are We There Yet last month.

On stage: The main cast, featuring George Humphreys, Rosie Celli, Katelyn Eddy and Jobe Unwin chatting to Siri (Khoa Unwin).

The Murray River Council Hall was at capacity, as each student performed and displayed their talents to a full house of family, friends and community members.

Counting the beat: Years 2, 3 and 4 students dancing to Absolutely Everybody.

A school production offers every child an opportunity to experience the excitement and joy of performing on stage.

Men At Work: Years 5/6 boys featured in the production.

The 2023 production, Are We There Yet, saw mum and dad and their two kids travelling around Australia, exploring the cultural and iconic sites of the beautiful country, from the outback to the coast and cities.

Stylish: Years 5/6 girls synchronised swimming dance routine.

The story was a showcase of both song and dance, along with humour and drama throughout.

Mathoura Public School students relished developing their confidence and performance skills during rehearsals, which resulted in a spectacular show.
