Congratulations to Hayden and Alyssa Frizzell on the birth of their first son Lucas Joseph Frizzell.
Lucas was born at Northeast Health Wangaratta on August 26, 2023, weighing in at a healthy 3.6kg, measuring 52cm.
Mum and bub were then transferred to Benalla Health for postnatal care.
Lucas’ grandparents Karla and Wes Ridd and Michael and Kerry Fizzell were excited to meet him.
Alyssa is recovering well and said Benalla Health had been excellent.
“They are so accommodating,” Alyssa said.
“We love the big rooms and the outdoor areas and fresh air.
“It is truly like a private hospital experience. It feels like we’re at a retreat, and the food is yummy.”
Alyssa said the midwives were amazing.
“They helped me facilitate anything I wanted and said they would be lead by me, which was very comforting.”
