Adopt this week’s pet of the week, Zoe, a three and a half years old Australian Bulldog and Sharpei mix desexed female dog.
Zoe is a charismatic dog with a heart as big as her personality.
While strong and slightly independent, this lovable lady has a soft spot for cuddles, belly rubs, and plenty of her absolute favourite chicken treats.
Zoe has a beautiful nature, although she can be tentative when encountering something new or meeting men for the first time.
But with patience, time and plenty of treats, she will gradually gain confidence and reveal her warm and affectionate personality.
A calm and patient home would be perfect for helping her feel safe and secure, with family members able to spend time slowly introducing her to their world.
One of the delightful things about Zoe is her robust obedience skills.
She knows how to “sit” and “drop” on command, and when she is feeling confident, she may even try to shake paws with you.
While Zoe likes her walks, she still has room to improve as she tends to pull on her lead.
But for someone comfortable with strong dogs and ready for some light training, Zoe would be an excellent companion.
Throughout the day, Zoe enjoys taking short strolls around the neighbourhood, lounging around, or snacking on her favourite chicken treats.
But do watch out — Zoe is a bit of a drooler, so always keep a hand towel on standby when it comes to treats or meal times.
Her animal ID is 13152, Microchip 953010005538670, PER BR101840.
Zoe comes from the Campaspe Animal Shelter, vaccinated and flea and worm-treated.
