Five comedians walk into Riverlinks in Shepparton — not a joke, but a May reality.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is bringing its festival favourites and a couple of newcomers to the regions, stopping in at Riverlinks Eastbank.

Harnessing all things comedy, the night of sketch, satire, stand-up and song is designed to keep audiences laughing from start to finish.

Featuring “self-identifying bogan genius“ Brett Blake manning the microphone as emcee, the night will feture Blake Freeman, Jay Wymarra, Prue Blake and Takashi Wakasugi.

Riverlinks Venues manager Ken Cameron said it was a great opportunity for audiences to venture out on a chilly autumn night and return to live entertainment through comedy.

“The comedy festival is a great event to leave the house for during these colder nights, there’s nothing like sharing a performance with the community and to see people being thrilled and laugh hysterically together,” he said.

The comedy show is at Riverlinks Eastbank on Wednesday, May 18. Tickets are available in person, through the Riverlinks box office on 03 5832 9511 or online at https://riverlinksvenues.online.red61.com.au/event/829:1821/829:2572/
