Mia’s triple honour at St Joseph’s presentation

St Joseph’s Primary held their school presentation night before Christmas with the children being recognised for all their hard work.

One of the most coveted awards was the David Craig award for the most improved Year 6 student who demonstrates the school ethos.

This was presented to Mia Baxter.

It was one of three special awards presented to Mia.

She also received the Little Aussie Award, which is presented for leadership, involvement in school activities and empathy towards others in the school environment.

Rounding out her major wins, Mia was presented with the Ambrose Crittenden award for being a loyal and supportive friend to all, as well as being an avid reader with a thirst for new knowledge.

Other awards were as follows:

Christian Living Awards - Blake Parker, Nakshu Puram, Lexie Bryce.

K/1 Learning Awards (sponsored by Jerilderie Apex) - Marlee Shaw, Annabel Ham.

Year 2/3 Learning Award (sponsored by Jerilderie Lions Club) - Milla Rorato.

Year 4/5/6 Learning Awards (sponsored by Lodge Riverina and Murrumbidgee Council) - Ivy Conn, Oliver Sleeman.

Nathan Kelly Award for Peer Support and Enthusiasm - Zavier Rorato.

Penguin Public Speaking Award - Charlie Rorato.

RSL Academic Scholarship - Kye Anderson.

CWA Citizenship Award - William Maynard.

Member for Albury Justin Clancy Award for Junior Citizen - Lexie Bryce.
