The annual Militaria and Collectables Expo is coming back to Shepparton to supply history enthusiasts and curious minds with enough relics to give them a blast of the past.
Held in The McIntosh Centre on Thompson St, the venue will be open on Saturday, March 1 from 9am to 5pm, and Sunday, March 2 from 9am until 3.30pm.
Explore aisles of stalls featuring collectable items you might not find anywhere else, including notes, coins, buttons, badges, cloth patches, medals, caps, stamps, fishing gear, scrimshaw, antique tins, antique clothing and trench art.
Attendees can view and purchase weaponry from different eras in history: swords, bayonets, militaria, rifles, shotguns, revolvers and pistols — both antique and modern — helmets, knives, ammunition, scopes and more.
Caterers will be selling food, coffee and cold drinks for anyone feeling peckish or thirsty.
Tickets cost $10 for adults, and entry for kids under 16 is free.
Free parking will be available on site.
