Moama police investigate tyre slashing

Police are appealing for information after the tyres of a Toyota Landcruiser were slashed in Francis St, Moama.

Inspector Paul Huggett of the Murray River Police District said the vehicle was parked in a carport at the time of the incident, about 11.45am on Friday, November 25.

“The victim heard what was described as a hissing noise and went outside to find both the front and rear passenger side tyres had been slashed,” Insp Huggett said.

“About $700 worth of damage to replace the two tyres.”

Witnesses described a male running from the house.
