In partnership with OurPlace, Food Bank is bringing a family pop-up market truck to Seymour on Thursday, November 24.
OurPlace community facilitator Amanda McLean said that anyone in need of fresh produce could register for a voucher to the truck.
“The effect of the floods and rising cost of living means that fresh fruit and veg seems harder to get and more expensive,” Ms McLean said.
A timeslot will be allocated to those who register to visit the truck between 10.30am and 11.30 am.
A variety of fresh fruit and vegetables will be available on the day, so bring along your shopping bags.
The number of people/families that can visit the truck is capped to 200, ensuring there is enough food to go around.
The truck will be located at Our Place, 29 Stewart St, Seymour.
