Congratulations to Molly Walker, who is one of only three South Australians to receive an invitation into the Australian National Flippers Squad.
Molly is the daughter of Jason and Sally Walker (nee Ryan).
The Swimming Australia National Flippers Squad is selected each year based on performances at key national championships.
Selection into the squad not only provides recognition as one of the top swimmers in the country, but allows athletes to be considered for specific ‘pathway activities’ with the aim of preparing them to successfully transition to Dolphins teams.
This is a great result for Molly who has worked very hard in the pool.

The BADS cast are well and truly at the pointy end of rehearsals and looking forward to putting on another fabulous performance for the community.
The production ‘Clue’ is directed by Tyson Peters, and brings together both comedy and murder mystery to create a thrilling experience for the audience.
The first performances will be August 2 and 3, and the matinee will be held on August 4.
Two final shows will be held August 9 and 10.
Tickets are $50 for the night performances, which include grazing boxes upon arrival. BYO drinks.

The Berrigan & District Development Association invites anyone who has moved to, or come back to, Berrigan in the last five years to attend a welcome to Berrigan barbecue luncheon.
Locals are also encouraged to attend as hosts for their new neighbours or friends.
The luncheon will be held on Sunday, August 25 from noon at the Berrigan Community Club. Lunch will be provided and drinks can be purchased at bar prices.

The next Berrigan race meeting is fast approaching, and will be held August 24.
This is always a great meeting with three families featuring on the day for the Brian Dorman Memorial, Robbie Saunders Memorial and Bernard Curtin Memorial as feature races.
TAB facilities, bar facilities and food will be available.
