Morning tea with an important message

The Coleambally Can Assist Morning Tea will be held tomorrow, June 20, from 9.30am at the Coleambally Community Club, Falcon Rd.

Guest speakers are:

• Janelle Armstrong (Freer) from the Illawarra Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service.

• Ann Jones from the Murrumbidgee Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service.

• Carrol Farlow from the Griffith Women’s Refuge.

Janelle will be talking about the different forms of domestic violence.

Ann and Carrol will talk about domestic violence and services that are available in the Murrumbidgee area.

We hope you can all come along and listen to these ladies.

There is far too much domestic violence happening every day around us all.

Support our local Can Assist and enjoy a delicious morning tea.

Please remember that it’s Waste Not Wednesday for the food organics garden organics (green bins).

Did you know flowers, garden cuttings, seeds, and weeds can go in your green-lid FOGO bin? The worms love them!

Layering these with your organic food waste is also a great way to help minimize odour in your bin.

Let’s keep our FOGO bins fresh and efficient!
