In the belly of KidsTown, Mooroopna, no hands were clean in the muddy crime scene that was Sprout’s Mud and Messy Play.

On Tuesday, September 19, children unleashed their energy into the community edible garden space, where painting stations, a mud kitchen, and giant games awaited.

While breaking all the household rules of keeping clean and tidy, News photographer Rechelle Zammit captured the mini messy culprits in action.
