Mulwala Police Station’s newest member has settled in well to town, a place he describes as “a really good spot”.
“I like fishing and golf, and Mulwala has both!” 36-year-old Senior Constable Kyle Jackson, who plays off a handicap of 12, told the Yarrawonga Chronicle.
It’s a far cry from Sydney where Senior Constable Kyle Jackson was stationed in the capital city’s south-west tackling major crime for the past eight years in the detective division.
Senior Constable Jackson’s wife, Amanda, also has the title Senior Constable, at Barooga Police Station. They have two children.
Relieving Sergeant at Mulwala, Gary Lewis, said Senior Constable Jackson, who began in Mulwala early February, is a welcome addition, “who brings plenty of experience and enthusiasm”.
