Mural design ideas welcome

The Berrigan Tidy Towns Committee has successfully applied for funding for the silo art opposite Apex Park.

The committee is looking for ideas from the community on a theme for the artwork.

The Berrigan Football Club will be holding its presentation day with all football and netball grades on Sunday, September 8 from 10am.

Footballers are to asked to take a salad and netballers a dessert. All welcome.

The Berrigan BDDA invites all new and returned residents to the area of Berrigan within the past five years to attend a welcome to Berrigan barbecue luncheon.

Locals are encouraged to attend as hosts for their new neighbours or friends.

The luncheon will be held on Sunday, August 25 at noon, at the Berrigan Community Club.

Lunch will be provided and drinks can be purchased at bar prices.

The next Berrigan race meeting is fast approaching, on August 24.

This is always a great meeting with local families featuring on the day.

Races include the Brian Dorman Memorial, Robbie Saunders Memorial, Brian Larter Memorial and the Bernard Curtin Memorial.

TAB facilities, bar facilities and food will be available.

The Berrigan Amaroo Auxiliary annual general meeting will be held on Monday, August 26 at the Madill Centre at 2pm. All welcome.
