Amcal Benalla will soon be re-branded as the Benalla Community Pharmacy.

New partner Hamish Lou is keen to get the word out that while there are some new faces in store, it still offers the same great products and services the Benalla community has become accustomed to.

“We have four partners, but I will be the one working in store running the day to day operations,” Mr Lou said.

“I’m from New Zealand, I guess you can call me a Kiwi pharmacist.

“But I’ve worked in regional Victoria, in Rainbow. I also worked as a pharmacist in Palm Island up in Queensland.

“This pharmacy is a little bit different than I’m used to, but I am enjoying meeting the regular customers.”

Mr Lou said his main goal was to maintain the success of the pharmacy and continue to serve the Benalla community into the future.

“But we’ll also look to improve in areas that we can,” he said.

“We still have some familiar faces in store with Matt, Nea and Tracey who most customers know.

“We also have Katie, who has returned.”

Benalla Community Pharmacy offers all of its previous products and services and more, including ear piercing; treatments for sleep apnoea, blood pressure and blood glucose.

There are 2023 calendars in store and you can even buy a pack of lollies or a watch battery.

It also offers gift wrapping when you find that perfect present.

On top of all of that any in-store purchase comes with entry into its Christmas raffle.

This year there is an array of amazing prizes including a TV, Espresso maker, kitchen set, and much more.
