The countdown is on for Shepparton’s first Anglican school, with enrolments set to open this month for the newly named All Saints Anglican School, which will open in 2024.

Planning is well under way and construction of the school on a 16-hectare site on Verney Rd, Shepparton, will begin this year.

The Anglican Schools Commission is inviting local families to attend an information session this month to find out about plans for the new school, which will offer local families a high-quality, low-fee co-educational for primary and secondary students.

The school will start with classes from Prep to Year 7 in its first year, growing to all grades from Prep to Year 12 by 2029.

Anglican Schools Commission chief executive Peter Laurence said he was looking forward to sharing plans about the new school with the local community.

“We’re thrilled to be opening All Saints Anglican School as a new educational option for local families,” he said.

“The All Saints crest, colours and the motto ‘Equipped to Serve’, have been carefully selected to represent and reflect Shepparton’s rich and vibrant agricultural and historical significance, and contribution to the region.

"The school will seek to nurture in its community a strong sense of excellence and belonging, respect, integrity and diversity.“

The ASC already operates schools in Cobram, Wangaratta and Albury-Wodonga, serving approximately 2700 students.

"All Saints Anglican School will offer the Greater Shepparton region a truly outstanding choice in primary and secondary education and be a school where every student is known and can develop to their full potential,“ Reverend Laurence said.

Information sessions will be held at The Carrington Hotel on Sunday, March 20, at 3pm and Monday, March 21, at 9am and 5.30pm. Sessions are open to all members of the community and registration of attendance is required. Enrolments will open on these days.
