Campaspe Shire Council has commenced roadworks in Nish St, Echuca.
The works started on Thursday, April 20 and will take about five weeks to complete.
The project involves the renewal of approximately 179m of sealed pavement, including a culvert replacement in Nish St, between Pakenham St and Anstruther St.
During the construction period, Nish St will be closed.
Access to the Nish St car park will be available via Florence St, off Annesley St.
Traffic delays may be experienced but council will endeavour to minimise the disruption as much as possible.
Pedestrian access to businesses along Nish St will be maintained; however, pedestrian access to cross Nish St will be available only via the intersections at Pakenham and Nish Sts or Anstruther and Nish Sts.
Waste collection red and yellow bins will be collected on normal days from each end of Nish St.
Council requests that businesses mark bins with their business name.
