A spectacular school production was hosted by Denilqiuin North School in the final week of term three.
Held at the Deni RSL Club, the ‘Trapped in a Musical’ production promised a show with a difference.
In providing a report on the evening, Deni North staff Claire Wing and Stacey Clancy said “the live music, singing, dancing, backdrop, props and amazing costumes made for a highly entertaining night”.
“Throw in seven students who are stuck once again on detention, add one fairy godmother with the most wonderful wand and spell book, mix in some amazing songs from favourite musicals, flavour it with energy and creativity, and you have the show,” they said.
“Every class was part of the production, showcasing some highly entertaining songs from musicals. Even the junior and senior bands got involved.
“Congratulations to everyone involved - this was such a team effort.
“An extra thanks needs to go to Anna Suckling, our Student Support Officer who has gone above and beyond in all areas of the production from script to costumes to filming and creating the intro. We are so lucky to have her.”
