After six months of renovations, Coles Deniliquin store staff had an exciting reason to celebrate on Wednesday.

A re-launch was hosted to celebrate the completion of works.

Regular customers to the store across the latter half of the year may have noticed a few structural changes under way.

Coles Deniliquin store manager Holly Minogue said the renovations have created an atmospheric impact on the Hardinge St store.

“It gives a whole new look and feel to the shop,” she said.

She said the changes will introduce several new concepts and innovations for shoppers in time for Christmas.

“We will offer a par baked bakery, frozen desert bar and scoop and weigh nuts,” Mrs Minogue said.

As for the event on Wednesday, Mrs Minogue said the launch allowed Coles Deniliquin staff to get together and celebrate the renovation’s completion and acknowledge some of their longest serving staff.

“We had a cake and had a ribbon cutting,” Mrs Minoque said.

“We had two team members who have been here since the store opened 27 years ago, Rhonda and Jo, who both cut the ribbon.

“They were then joined by other members of the leadership team to cut the cake.”

It was an enjoyable morning for the Coles Deniliquin staff and for customers as they got a chance to experience the new renovations.
