Old skool rolling for charity

The ‘Old Skool Riders’ Social Club will be holding the ‘Roll the Dice Ride’ next month to raise money for the local fundraising organisation ‘Friends in Common’.

The ‘Old Skool Riders’ Social Club are again raising money for local fundraising and support organisation ‘Friends in Common’ on Sunday, August 25.

The club will host their annual fundraiser, the Roll the Dice Ride, starting at the Yarrawonga Hotel from 11.30am.

The ride will consist of both motorbikes and cars which will travel approximately 200km with the route to be disclosed on the day.

Steve ‘Docko’ Docking, the club’s president said the route will make its way through Tungamah and Katamatite and registrations will start from 10.30am through to 11.15am at the rear of the Yarrawonga Hotel.

To be involved, it is $25 entry per head, and there will be three hotel and cafe stops where several raffles will be drawn with a chance to win vouchers and meat trays, from numerous local businesses and there will be major cash prize raffles to conclude the day at the Yarrawonga Hotel.

Raffle tickets will be $10 for five with prizes to include vouchers from Upper Cut Maintenance, Yarrawonga Hotel, Yarrawonga Locksmiths, Crusty Loaf Bakery, Certain Temp Shepparton, APG Painting, Judd’s Yarrawonga Workwear & Uniforms, Premix King Liquor, Northeast Mini Diggers, Woodland Glass and Aluminium, and Nagles off the Hook Butchery

All proceeds will be donated to ‘Friends in Common’ to help locals battling cancer.
