The Olympics seniors’ luncheon held at the Jerilderie Sports Club last Thursday was a great success, with lots of laughter shared and trophies won in the ‘Games with a Difference’.

More than 40 seniors, both men and women, enjoyed the few hours together, with a morning tea and lunch included in the day’s activities.

Thanks to Murrumbidgee Council for sponsoring the event, to Eden and Julie from Murrumbidgee Council’s Jerilderie office for providing the themed décor and fun activities, to the Sports Club members who provided morning tea, and to Rita and Guy who made their Chinese restaurant available for the ‘sporting arena’, and served a lovely lunch for the participants.
