Businesses throughout Strathbogie Shire can assist Strathbogie Shire Council to develop its economic development strategy for the next five years by completing a survey.
Strathbogie Shire Mayor Chris Raeburn said the shire was keen to strengthen its existing opportunities and create new economic opportunities for businesses in the shire.
“We know empowering, attracting and retaining people with skills for the future will enhance our business opportunities in the shire,” Cr Raeburn said.
“This survey will target outcomes and opportunities during the next five years and will assist us to deliver programs in our action plan.
“The results of this survey will create an economic development roadmap that puts people and our environment first and enhances creative entrepreneurship to be innovative and create a positive forward-thinking plan.”
This five-year strategy will replace previous economic development strategies and the results of the survey and workshops will be made public following their adoption by council.
To participate in the survey and the following workshops, register your interest at sharestrathbogie.com.au or call 1800 065 993 for a hard copy of the survey.
The survey will be open for comment until October 19.
