'Paint at the Pub' crafts artistic fun

Budding artists show off their work at the ‘Paint at the Pub’ day.

Upper Murray Quirky Events hosted a highly successful 'Paint at the Pub' event at the Royal Hotel over the weekend, drawing in 20 enthusiastic participants eager to explore acrylic painting on canvas.

Led by local artist Michael Mack, attendees embarked on a journey of creativity, creating individual and unique masterpieces.

The participants were pleasantly surprised to discover that they would be recreating a stunning, semi-abstract painting of a brilliantly coloured girl. With wine, coffee, and a delightful charcuterie board for snacking, the budding artists were guided stage by stage by Michael, with assistance from Lesley Starr, Judy Elliott, and Annette Mack.

The Royal Hotel's function room served as the perfect venue for this fun-filled afternoon, providing an ideal setting for artistic expression. As the participants progressed through their paintings, they were delighted to witness their masterpieces take shape, each one reflecting their unique style and creativity.

The finished paintings showcased the diverse talents of the participants, with each artwork displaying individuality and personal touches. The creators themselves were pleasantly surprised by the results and expressed enthusiasm for the next 'Paint at the Pub' event, which will be scheduled in the near future.
