Shepparton police will pause to remember all those officers who have died, at a National Police Remembrance Day ceremony in the city on Friday, September 29.

The ceremony will be held at Monash Park on Welsford St from 10am.

It will include laying a wreath to remember all officers who have died.

The ceremony will also include the reading of a list of names of every officer or police staff member who has died while on duty or in the past year.

Members of the public are also invited to join police at the ceremony.
