A pedestrian has died after allegedly being hit by a car on a country road in Shepparton North on the night of Wednesday, August 30.
Police investigators have been told a car allegedly collided with a male pedestrian on Barmah-Shepparton Road about 7.30pm.
Emergency crews were quickly on scene but the 32-year-old Shepparton man could not be revived.
The female driver of the car stopped at the scene and has spoken to police.
The road has been blocked off near the Goulburn Valley Hwy was several hours.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
