Before introducing this week’s pet of the week, the RSPCA Victoria has urged pet owners to get their pets desexed with Operation Wanted.

This is to prevent blowing out household budgets, having to look after unexpected fur babies and the Campaspe animal shelter having to find loving homes for cats like Brian.

The Victorian Government’s Pet Census showed Victorian households spend $3664 per year on average on a dog and $2,134 per year on a cat.

Operation Wanted offers 20 per cent off cat and dog desexing to pet owners registered at operationwanted.com.au before August 31.

Now, let’s meet the big, beautiful Brian, a domestic short-haired male desexed cat who is just over two years old.

He is a super sweet, gentle and affectionate boy looking for love.

Brian enjoys being around people and loves showing affection with head bops and by happily purring in your lap.

He can be a little shy when you first see him, but the animal shelter can attest that he will be rolling around in delight, and looking for all the chin scratches he can get in no time.

This big, affectionate boy is a delight, and everyone who meets him will be instantly charmed by his gentle and lovable nature.

Adopt Brian for all the affection you will ever need in a fur-friend and give him a loving and fur-ever home.

His animal ID is 13115, Microchip 991001006362276, PER BR101840.
