Police Beat: Thefts in Broadford, Seymour and Wallan

In Broadford, Seymour and Wallan, a number of thefts have recently occurred.

Broadford

Theft of motor vehicle

Between April 3 and April 4, a vehicle valued at $12,000 was stolen from High St, Broadford.

Seymour

Theft of bicycle

Between 6.40am and 6.55pm on April 6, a bicycle (valued at $699) was stolen from the Seymour Train Station.

Theft

Between 5pm on April 3 and 7.30am on April 4, a $1500 tanned cow hide was stolen from a vendor at the Seymour Alternative Farming Expo.

Between 6pm on April 3 and 8am on April 4, a $3000 trailer was stolen from an address in Mentor St, Seymour.

Wallan

Theft

On April 3 at around 5pm, 10 metres of freshly laid turf, valued at $1800, was stolen from an address in Murray St, Beveridge.

Theft from motor vehicle

Between 8pm on April 6 and 4pm on April 7, two toolboxes and the tools inside, all worth $1000, were stolen from the back of a vehicle parked in Stringybark Ave, Wallan.

Between 8pm on April 6 and 7.20am on April 7, a thief broke into a vehicle parked on Stringybark Ave, Wallan, and stole power tools and a drain camera, valued at $7800.
