Police are appealing for information after a window was smashed at a local sports club.
On Monday, October 14 a volunteer at the Tongala Football Netball Club discovered a smashed window at the back of the club’s gymnasium.
Kyabram police Leading Senior Constable Damien Duggan said officers were appealing for information from the public about the smashed window.
He said police believed the window was broken between Friday, October 11 and Sunday, October 13.
Tongala Football Netball Club president Daniel Cox said a couple of fluorescent lights had been damaged in addition to the smashed window.
He said that while the damage was superficial, it would cost the club a few hundred dollars to fix what was broken.
Leading Sen Constable Duggan asked that anyone with information, or who witnessed suspicious activity between Friday, October 11 and Sunday, October 13 should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
