A leading senior constable from the eastern region has been charged with assault in relation to incidents that allegedly occurred in Shepparton.
Police say the charges relate to incidents that occurred between 2021 and 2023 in Shepparton, while the member was off duty.
The 40-year-old man has been charged with two counts of recklessly cause injury, three counts of intentionally cause injury and four counts of common law assault.
He will appear before a court at a later date.
