Police seize cannabis plants from crop house near Shepparton

Police have seized 270 cannabis plants from a crop house uncovered near Shepparton on Thursday, January 19.

Shepparton police Sergeant Jake Sinclair said there were no people present at the Ford Rd, Grahamvale, residence when a search warrant was executed about 8.40am.

He said there were five rooms with cannabis plants in various stages of growth, which were all seized with the assistance of the police’s botany branch.

Sgt Sinclair said there was a hydroponic set-up with an electrical bypass in place at the residence, and investigations were ongoing.
