Drink, eat and dance your way around Moama and the Perricoota wine region on Saturday, November 30 as part of the Pop and Pour Festival.
With a fleet of buses to cart you around, this multi-venue, choose your own adventure festival has something for everyone.
There are five venues participating in the 2024 edition of Pop and Pour, including Three Black Sheep, St Anne’s Winery, Cadell on the Murray, Perricoota Vines and Four Two Five.
Each location will have a plethora of drink offerings, food options and live entertainment to choose from.
Buses will also return attendees to Echuca and Moama from 5:30pm onwards, making sure that all participants arrive home safely, or continue the party at local pubs and clubs.
VIP packages are available for purchase, including opportunities for a boozy brunch, Murray River cruise or your own private transport by horse and carriage for an extra layer of decadence.
Event organiser Jacqui Wegener reflected on the history of the festival and the projected turnout for the day.
“We started back in 2017 with the idea of showcasing the producers and businesses on the Moama side of the Murray River,” she said.
“Since then, we now have five venues and roughly 3000 people set to attend, most of which are from out of town, which is really exciting.
“It’s a really interactive, high-energy festival and I think the key to what makes the event such a success is how dynamic the nature of it is, you get to decide what your day looks like.”
Ms Wegener also highlighted the excitement for the festival expressed by attendees and organisers and the positive feedback given to her by out-of-town participants.
“Everyone is looking forward to it, with the pressure everyone has been under over the last couple of years, we all need to opportunity to let our hair down a bit,” she said.
“We are getting many comments and feedback from people who are excited about the festival, especially the out-of-towners that are excited to explore the region.
“We have a lot to be proud of in our area. As towns, what we have to offer tourists is very impressive, so an event like this is a good way for all the businesses to shine.”
