Voters are able to register for a postal vote for the 2022 federal election, with the Australian Electoral Commission sending postal voting packs out from Tuesday, April 26.

You can vote by post if you are outside the electorate where you’re enrolled to vote or live more than 8km from a voting place.

You can also apply for a postal vote if you will be travelling, are unable to leave your workplace to vote or are seriously ill.

If you do apply for a postal vote, your ballot papers must be completed and witnessed on or before election day.

Head to www.aec.gov.au/election/pva.htm to apply for a postal vote.
