On Thursday, March 20, more than 70 members of Rochester and surrounds travelled to The Timbercutter in Mathoura.
The day was organised by the Rochester Probus Club as part of a Wellness Project they received funding for through the Campaspe Shire Council’s Community Flood Recovery and Resilience Grants.
The aim of the project was to bring together people in a fun and relaxed environment, encouraging them to connect with other community members.
Attendees enjoyed a two-course meal along the junction of the Murray and Edward Rivers, followed by musical entertainment provided by Peter Gibson and Graeme Watson, and jokes from Russ Major.
The day was filled with much laughter and chatter among those in attendance.
The event was possible thanks to the Rochester Rotary Club which auspiced the Probus Club’s funding application.
