Revamp’s $10k to AW Health

Florence Hudson City2City hands over the cheque to AWH's Chief Operating Officer Linda, and City2City chair Michelle Hudson.

The Corowa Revamp Op Shop has once again stepped up with an extraordinarily generous $10,000 donation to the Hume Bank City2City fundraiser for Albury Wodonga Health (AWH).

The op shop presented the substantial contribution that left AWH and the entire community in awe.

Corowa Revamp Op Shop Manager Florence Hudson conveyed the team’s delight as they made this impactful donation for the second consecutive year.

AWH’s Chief Operating Officer Linda Hudec graciously accepted the donation and expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from Corowa Revamp Op Shop.

Ms Hudson explained that the decision to contribute again was motivated by recognising the pivotal role AWH plays in providing vital healthcare services to the broader community.

This significant donation comes at a crucial time, as entries and contributions to this year’s event are poised to open doors for women across the region.

Funds raised will enable access to women’s surgical procedures that were previously limited to those with private health insurance, thereby expanding healthcare accessibility and inclusivity.

For those inspired by this act of generosity, there’s an opportunity to contribute and participate. You can register for the upcoming event or make a donation by visiting: The Hume Bank City2City Run/Walk 2024. Your support can make a meaningful difference in ensuring that essential healthcare services are accessible to all women across the Border region.
