Revamp’s $6000 donation to RCH

Good Friday Appeal Local Area Manager Ali Playford and her daughter Tarleigha Playford (front) accept a generous cheque from Revamp’s Kath Wilson, Kerrie Johnson and store manager Florence Hudson.

The charitable endeavours of Corowa’s Revamp Op Shop have culminated in a generous $6,000 donation to the Royal Children’s Hospital, with their total contribution to the Good Friday Appeal exceeding $70,000.

Since 2011, Revamp Op Shop has consistently provided financial support to the Royal Children’s Hospital through the Good Friday Appeal’s local charter.

The dedication and efforts of area managers Karie Playford, Ali Playford, and Lauren Bath, who orchestrate the Corowa-Wahgunyah Good Friday Appeal, have been instrumental in this process.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to the Revamp Op Shop for their remarkable contribution of $6,000 to the Royal Children’s Hospital this year,” Ali said.

“Their support has been a cornerstone of our fundraising efforts and ensures the hospital continues to offer exceptional care and state-of-the-art facilities to children, including those from our own community.

“I also want to acknowledge the tireless work of the volunteers at Revamp Op Shop and the leadership of Florence Hudson.”

Managed by Florence Hudson and propelled by a devoted group of volunteers, the Revamp Op Shop operates under the auspices of the Corowa Presbyterian Church.

Notably, these contributions have facilitated the acquisition of advanced medical equipment in Wodonga and Corowa.

“It’s important for us to extend our help to those in need, and the feedback from our community has been overwhelmingly positive,” Ms Hudson said.

“Our endeavours would not be possible without their support and the dedication of our volunteers and the community who supports us.”
