Rich River Golf Club is holding a ‘Fishing on the Fairways’ event in celebration of Father’s Day on Sunday, September 1.

The club has filled lakes with fish in preparation for the event and is encouraging families to bring their tackle boxes and their dads down to the club for a day of family, fun and fishing.

Rich River Golf Club has filled lakes so there is plenty to catch on Father's Day.

Registrations will be held on the day from 10.30am to 11.30am, followed by the fishing from 11.30am to 2.30pm

Every registration will also receive a raffle ticket which will guarantee a chance to win prizes from Echuca Blue Sky and Outdoor Experts.

Raffles prizes will be announced at the end of the day as well as prizes for the biggest fish caught.

No alcohol from outside of the club is permitted on the day. However, all bar and barbecue facilities will be available for use and everyone is welcome to bring their own snacks.

Guests have been requested to bring their own chairs, fishing gear, hats, sunscreen and a brag mat, if possible, to measure their fish.

Entry will cost $15 per person or $50 for a family pass (two adults and up to three kids under 17).
