Rochester Community House will be open three days a week, from Monday to Wednesday (9am to noon), for the month of January.

These reduced hours are due to staff availability and the house is encouraging people to call its office on 5484 3600 if they require any assistance.

The Foodshare program recommences today (Tuesday, January 11) at 11am and volunteers will continue to pack bags for contactless collection or delivery (if required).

If people are new to the program they should contact the office if they would like a bag packed. There are also some frozen and minimal pantry items available during the week.

The house is encouraging people to register for the Town Garage Sale, which will be held on Saturday, February 12.

Early bird registrations cost $15 and close on January 30, with standard registration ($20) closing on February 7.

The weekend is sure to be massive with many events, including the Southern 80 ski race, happening in the Campaspe shire.

People are encouraged to gather their unwanted items and make an extra dollar or two.

All the advertising, radio, newspaper and social media is done for you. Registration forms can be collected from The Café Rochester, Rochester Bakery, Rochester Newsagents, The Willow/Ampol Service Station, Rochester Community House or the shire service centre.

The forms must be returned to Rochester Community House with payment, so that staff can provide you with your registration pack.
