Roller disco fever is taking over Shepparton this Saturday.

GLOW Roller Disco is making its comeback to Shepparton this Saturday, September 21, as part of the Youth Fest events.

Event lead Damien Stevens-Todd said the event will be free for young people aged 12 to 25.

“We are proud to have created an inclusive, family-friendly space where roller-skating transcends many of life’s other distractions, allowing us to focus just on what is in front of us for a moment; to have fun with our friends and make some new ones,” he said.

The event, presented by GV Pride in partnership with The Bridge Youth Service, Uniting VT and Berry Street was made possible thanks to a FReeZA funding grant from the Greater Shepparton City Council.

In addition to skating, the event will include food and drinks for purchase, prize draws, live entertainment, a bean bag chill-out zone, a giant selfie game, nature-based activities and more.

The GLOW Roller Disco will take place on Saturday, September 21, at the Multipurpose Pavilion at the Shepparton Showgrounds.

Entry for the three three-hour sessions for young people aged 12 to 25 is free, with a fee applying for children under 12 and adults over 25. The third session from 7pm to 10pm is for those aged 18 and over only.

Skates will be available to hire for free on the night, or you can bring your own.
