The partnership between the Rotary Club of Seymour and Ampol Foodary Tallarook continued this year, raising funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

Rotary volunteers and families stationed themselves at the north-bound Hume Fwy service station, warmly encouraging travellers to contribute generously to the appeal.

The travelling community responded generously, donating an impressive $1400 for the appeal.

Rotary Club of Seymour president Greg Byers noted that everyone was eager to support the children and this worthy cause, despite the challenging times families were currently facing.

“We’re very grateful for the opportunity to set up at the service station because it allows us to get donations from outside the local Seymour community,” he said.

He also thanked Ampol Tallarook north-bound manager Vinay Chintala and the staff for supporting Rotary and allowing the volunteers to collect donations at the service station.

Rotary volunteers and families also collected donations at the south-bound service station on Easter Monday, raising additional funds to support Rotary projects both locally and in the broader community.
