This Sunday, the Rotary Cub of Shepparton is holding its 10th annual Motor Show & Market Day.

“We haven’t been able to have one for the last few years because of COVID,” Rotarian Geoff Long said.

“We’re looking forward to a great day out.

“There’ll be all sorts of custom, vintage, classic cars, trucks, motorbikes, motorhomes and buses,” Mr Long said.

The event will be held at the Shepparton Showgrounds.

The entry fee is $10 for a show car and driver and $5 for the public, and children under 12 are free.

Food and drinks will be available on the day; however, the event is alcohol-free.

The gates open to the public at 9am, and the presentation of the awards will be at 1pm.

All money raised will go towards initiatives funded by the Rotary Club.

Rotarian Denis Muto said the event would have “everything you can imagine”.

“You’ve got a swap meet for car enthusiasts, you’ve got vintage cars and classic cars, you’ve got brand new cars, you’ve got police cars with their blue ribbon display,” Mr Muto said.

“The top candy car will be there — the pursuit vehicle.”

Messrs Muto and Long expressed their gratitude to all the sponsors.

“Thank you to all the sponsors and especially the major sponsor, Ken Muston Automotive,” Mr Long said.

“We couldn’t go ahead. We just couldn’t do it without their support,” Mr Muto said.

“All major towns have a car show; Shepparton has the best.”
