Rotary Mooroopna has presented Foodshare with a $4000 cheque to help keep the lights on and its van running in effort to support the community in Shepparton and Mooroopna.

Rotary Mooroopna’s support of Shepparton Foodshare was an initiative from past member Stuart Davidson, who organised a Rotary golf day, with proceeds going to several local community services, which included Foodshare.

The club has continued to support Foodshare annually in memory of Mr Davidson, who died in 2019.

Foodshare posted on its Facebook page saying thanks to Mooroopna Rotary for its ongoing support.

“This annual donation from the club specifically helps to fuel one of our food rescue vans that is out and about four days per week rescuing food to distribute to the most vulnerable in our community,” the post read.
